One Way to Make Your Words Meaningful and Impactful
Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.(Eph. 4:29)
Sometimes, when I need some peace and quietness in the house, I trigger what is called ‘the silence game’; a game where the first kid to break the silence is the loser. With little kids, it works well, for the first 20 minutes (lol..)
Being quiet from time to time is a virtue. It helps you process your thoughts, listen to others and yes, even shields us from sin (a consequence of talking too much).
Today, let your words to your boss, colleague, family, friends, subordinates, and even those that serve you, be seasoned with grace.
Speak words that edify not destroy. Make the world a better place.
Have a great day.
