4 Smart Productivity Hacks For Busy Parents
Being a working single is tough enough but get ready to adjust things when you've got toddlers adn preschoolers. Here are 4 smart and cheap productivity hacks you can apply right away.
1. Scheduler: “If it’s not scheduled, it doesn’t get done” - I heard my mentor repeat over and over again. Some fantastic scheduling tools I have tried are Outlook Calendar, iCalendar, Google Calendar, Scheduler, Doodle, etc. What would you add to the list?
2. Batch Tasks: The laundry is on your way to the supermarket. Why not batch the laundry and supermarket runs at the same time- this way you avoid going that route twice.
3. Take Social Media Breaks: Deliberately ignore your phone for 30 mins to 1 hour less every day and use the time to tidy up a small section of the house, relax, or to spend time with family.
4. Share the Load: If you’re living with your family, even kids have to learn how to clean up after themselves. Schedule a regular clean-up time where every member of the house has a task to do
